Freedom from the Feminine Shadow:

A Men’s Retreat to Recover Masculine Power and Emotional Liberation

May 2-4, 2025

Claymont Retreat Center, WV

1 hour north of Dulles Airport; 1.5 hours west of BWI

As a man, you may be operating from some repressed feminine wounding. By facing and healing the feminine shadow within, you can free yourself from unconscious patterns that shape your relationships, emotional well-being, and sense of masculinity. In this unique workshop, guided by four strong women offering compassionate insights, you'll explore how unresolved dynamics with your mother or feminine figures may affect your ability to set healthy boundaries, express vulnerability, or feel secure in intimate relationships.

You’ll learn to release anger, resentment, guilt, and shame, and replace them with emotional clarity, inner peace, and stronger self-worth. As a result, you'll develop a deeper connection with yourself and healthier expectations and views of women or the feminine, free from the distortions of past wounds and projections. You’ll reclaim your emotional autonomy and step into a more empowered version of yourself.

Open to all men, regardless of gender preferences or relationship status, this experience, facilitated by women who understand the nuances of the feminine wound, will be deeply transformative and healing.

Consider if any of these ring true for you:

  • You’re a man who struggles with self-worth, regularly seeking validation from others because you don’t feel secure in your own value.

  • You tend to overcompensate at work or in other areas in life, and you suspect it might come from trying to fill the emptiness left by a lack of maternal affirmation.

  • In relationships, you swing between dependency and building walls to protect yourself from heartbreak.

  • Have you hidden your vulnerabilities behind exaggerated displays of “manliness” or indifference because you’ve been taught showing emotions is weak?

  • Maybe you struggle with trusting others, always bracing for betrayal because of inconsistencies in your relationship with your mother or other feminine figures.

  • Maybe you’re at a place in life where you want to look towards the gold of the feminine -not just the pain you’ve experienced.

While not simple, this workshop offers the opportunity for insights beyond the obvious to begin breaking free from those cycles or patterns. It’s a place where you can start to trust yourself to form authentic connections that aren’t driven by fear or dependency. It’s a place to (re)integrate the feminine in a new way!

If any of these resonate, this workshop is an invitation for you to refresh your perspective and experience of the feminine.

This workshop is limited to 16 men. Payment of a $250 non-refundable deposit and a conversation with one of the facilitators is required to start the registration process.

This kind of work is not for everyone. We like to talk with you before you register so there can be an informed decision as to whether this workshop is right for you. Plus, with that brief conversation, we get to start to connect with you!

This team of women is special. And powerful! While we come from diverse backgrounds and lead unique lives, our shared commitment lies in our passion for connecting and collaborating with each other and fellow human beings.

We’ve created this workshop for men (with guidance from men!) in the spirit of healing and helping our world. As women who have done (and continue to do) their own work, we bring a fierce and compassionate perspective to guiding men through the healing of the feminine shadow. Our experiences allow us to hold, witness and understand the complexities of how unresolved dynamics with feminine figures—such as mothers, sisters, and lovers—impact men’s emotional well-being and relationships. Having insight from the other side of these dynamics, we can help men explore their own vulnerabilities, develop deeper self-awareness, and create healthier, more authentic connections. We believe our role is to hold a safe, nurturing space that also challenges and supports men in processing deep-rooted experiences, leading to transformative healing and emotional freedom. To be clear, none of that should be interpreted as “soft” or “easy.” This is profound, emotional work, and if you have any experience with that, you know how demanding it can be.
